Processing payments should be quick and easy. Our integration with Square enables you to securely and efficiently transmit multiple forms of electronic payment information through your BestRx and BestPOS systems. With BestRx + Square, you can offer multiple convenient payment options for you and your patients, including credit and debit cards, FSA/HSA cards, EMV (chip) payments, Apple, Google or Samsung Pay and text-to-pay.

Establishing your Square account is easy! Pharmacies can either:
Register through Cardinal Health’s Modern Payments Processing and take advantage of the program’s lower processing rates and other benefits. (You do not have to be an active Cardinal Health program to utilize the Modern Payments Processing program*.)
Register through Square directly by clicking here.
Regardless of how you choose to register, you will ONLY need to purchase the Square Terminal. Do NOT purchase Square’s POS, paper rolls or other hardware as payments will be synced from the Square Terminal to your existing BestPOS system and its associated equipment.
*To access Cardinal Health’s lower processing rates, high-level monthly data will be shared.

BestRx pharmacies ONLY need to purchase the Square Terminal to use alongside their existing BestPOS system and its associated equipment.
Do NOT purchase Square’s POS, paper rolls, or any hardware other than the Square Terminal for payment processing.
