As a result, our Quality Assurance team plays a vital role in our company, helping us to conduct functional, performance and regression testing on our software. This position is on-site, full-time in our Oak Brook, Ilinois office.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include: 

  • Completing functional, performance, and regression testing.
  • Working with other members of the Quality Assurance team to develop a testing strategy, including the test plan, scenario, and cases for projects.
  • Executing test cases according to the test plan and documenting the results. 
  • Compiling bug reports by priority which clearly explain the steps taken to reproduce bugs, which are submitted to the software developers for correction.
  • Retesting software bugs once the corrections have been completed by the developers to confirm the issue has been resolved.
  • Interacting with the Quality Assurance team lead and/or Development team to identify and refine test requirements.
  • Submitting test plans and test reports for review and feedback.
  • Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of work and communicating any technical issues to QA leaders and/or the Development team (based on the scope of each assignment). 
  • Researching new products and industry methodologies.
  • Facilitating the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. 

Qualifications Requirement:

To Be Successful in this Role, Candidates Should Meet the Following Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent field)
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Test Engineer
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC & STLC 
  • Experience working with various software bug tracking tools 
  • API Testing Knowledge 
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Automation testing experience, using tools like selenium, SoapUI, etc. is preferred
